Sad but not surprising.
A couple of books come to remind me:
Lord of the Fly
Animal FarmWhy would anyone would think this would turn out different?

Younger folks going through their messianic period and other sorts of fools.

It took until my late 40s to reach that stage but the moral clarity I have achieved to devote the rest of my life to ending racism is the most special thing I’ve ever done. My favorite part of this moral clarity is how simple it all is. The only human emotions I must have compassion for are the emotions of Black people. White people are garbage (ironically often orange garbage, though in a different sense, still white). It’s really lucky for me that this moral perfection is also super simple. I always have difficulty understanding complex things because I’ve been painfully average and mediocre my whole life. But now I’m special because I’ve achieved moral perfection. Black lives matter, you jerks!

I don't know anything about that, but I do know that there are a lot of people causing a big damn fuss and at work, the vibe seems to be that I need to agree with these people in order to keep my job. So, that's what I say.

When all the sturm und drang is over, the questions I have for the BLM are these: Now that you're all done, now that you have toppled all the statues, painted all the streets, defunded the cops and whatever other projects you dream up, what happens now? What has changed or will change in your favor? What differences will there be in the way we -- all of us, black or white -- live our lives that will make things better? What have you accomplished?

None of this is about "better". This is about power and domination..

Okay, but dominate what? You got to have something to dominate over.
There are probably more black racists than white racists in my experience.
Yes, but the numbers are starting to shift back...
