Europeans think that 100 miles is a long way, Americans think that 8 minutes (the average time between commercials for a mainstream American sport) is a long time.

Couldn't take it anymore at the half. Turns out we lost, 0-1. One, count them, one, goals.
I can appreciate the skill that goes into it, even though I'm not all that clear on the rules, fouls, etc. Maybe next season we'll go to a game at the new stadium. I'd really like to enjoy it.

I think it's much harder to enjoy sports you didn't grow up watching. I've tried with American football, baseball, hockey, oval racing....
