As someone said in the comments, it's like a demo, lacking the values production brings to a song. But gosh, I loved her voice.

I saw them in I think 75 or 76. They opened with this song, which I think showcases her dramatic, almost percussive voice as she spits venomously at the establishment. It was quite impressive. Love the album.

I always liked Grace Slick’s voice as well. Jorma Kaukonen is a first rate guitarist as well. A guitarist’s guitarist in a vein similar to Jerry Garcia but with his own distinct voice. I have always enjoyed his solo works and Hot Tuna recordings.

Yep. Jorma now lives down in SE Ohio. Has for many years. he runs a guitar workshop and camps.
