This evening, I saw a talking head claiming that the Democrats are pushing for a Social Security COLA and the GOP is opposing that.
Well, no. It's a matter of law that SS benefits are adjusted for inflation, and neither party has anything to say about it.
And the host of the program was silent.

To be perfectly honest, I couldn't give a shit about what inflation does to people earning 700 grand a year. They have to sell their second yacht to scrape by? Give up Frappuccino's?
