Did a bunch of teenagers punk the Trump campaign?
-
ABC's Jonathan Karl asked a campaign staffer about the lack of turnout at the rally:
Karl: "On a scale of 1 to 10, how mad is the President?"
Staffer "15."

Trump should look at the bigger picture. The event had been maligned as front page news for weeks and he pulled it off and it looked pack to the camera....
and Biden will never be able to pull off anything like this even with wind at his back the whole way.
Face it, Trump went on offense. He's much better on offense than he is on defense.

Good to know that this is him being on the "much better" side of his spectrum.
Four more years, sugar...

But were the tickets really reserved? I thought I read somewhere that they were giving out unlimited tickets. The "reserved" ticket gave you a possible option to enter the rally, but not a guarantee.
That is why the President Trump campaign were saying that they had over one million tickets requested.

Probably Covid kept a ton of people away but this is just cannon fodder for “the resistance”. It’s amazing how much people dedicate in terms of mindshare to all things Trump. Shows you how vapid many lives are.

@Loki I think Loki the reason that it becomes "news" is that in the past, President Trump always has played up the size of the crowds, asked the camera man there to show how the arena was filled to the very top. It is one of his talking points.
As me (and many others on this forum board) have said, President Trump is his own worst enemy.

Did you watch the event?
-
Trump had a big day at West Point and the only thing the media would report on are two fake news events, the water and his walking.
That’s just how bad things have gotten and that is living proof that the media has sworn itself even to the point of making stuff up to tell lies.
Why bother reading it anymore to understand?

I suppose tickets weren’t reserved, so the kids didn’t prevent anyone from going who wanted to go.
It did get the campaign to hype up the size of the crowd, build outdoor overflow stadium seating, and plan a second speech for the outdoor folks.
So they punked the campaign without actually interfering with anyone’s ability to see the event.
Nicely done!

Good points. I would never go to an indoor nor outdoor rally where people weren’t socially distancing and my gut was that most people regardless of political affiliation wouldn’t either. But the “data” suggested otherwise and I thought, huh? Now we know how it was engineered.
In this ugly war remember however that punking works multiple ways so don’t take umbrage when it happens to Biden.
These violent delights have violent ends.

Violent? Reserving a ticket online?
-
I know. We all look alike to you.
-
I get that, it was the reference to violence that was curious.
Either he’s aping the woke and labels everything he doesn’t like to be violence, or more likely, it’s all one homogeneous (CNN-adoring) outgroup to him.
