No mask, no mask.

My little rural hospital dropped all general masking for employees Monday, except for close patient contact.

CDC guidelines dropped the
requirementrecommendation for medical facilities about 10 days ago. Never made the news.We were downtown at Northwestern on Tuesday - everyone was masked up.

I went to my more hardcore of eye appts a week or so back. The building hosts a handful of medical practices, all of which still have mask requirements. I didn't even have one in my car. I had to borrow one and they were a little snooty about it.
I kinda get it. At the eye doc's, I'm always the youngest person there. All the patients are retirement age. So, fine, but they're using the flimsy surgical ones, which, why bother.

Amen.
If you are going to use a mask, at least use a KN95. They breathe a bit better than a regular N95 and give almost as good protection.
