That was cool.
Reading about the Wankel, it seems like it was plagued with all kinds of problems (seals, pollution, inefficient fuel use, etc) which, ultimately, made it non-sustainable despite the clever engineering. Wikipedia talks about using hydrogen (!) as a fuel which is faster burning than gasoline and producing no emissions.

It’s also titled “Slap Her ... She’s French” in its European release.

Those repeated notes. Damn.
The piece sounds more like Liszt than like Schumann.

You’re in the ballpark. It’s a Tausig transcription.

Wang is really good with these kinds of show pieces. When I first saw her play

I felt pure hatred only. I'd have loved to take her Louboutin stilettos and ramm them into her head. -

The Schumann/Tausig reminds me of this gem of a transcription by Rachmaninoff:

Kung Fury, Kung Fuhrer, TriceraCop, Laser-Raptor, machine gun wielding Viking babes, Thor, and giant fighting robots ... you know it’s good.

@Axtremus That was interesting.
I can see you or Klaus or Jon building one of those mechanisms like seen at the end. LOL
