Conway had her albatross, too.

@Jolly said in another TNCR thread:
Let's fuck up society beyond all recognition, clearing the way for The Man On The White Horse, who will swoop in and dictate what will bring us back to Sanity!

Stable and prosperous societies begin with stable and prosperous families. The best way to ensure anarchy and revolution is to first tear apart the family, then the rest of the underpinnings of stability are easy to knock over.

And now they say he's paying for abortions.
5 weeks out. Time to chunk everything, including what ain't true.

National Republicans are rushing to defend Herschel Walker in the wake of a bombshell report that the Senate candidate in the hotly contested battleground state of Georgia paid for a woman’s abortion in 2009.

...So, if true, in 13 years, he changed is position on abortion. I can think of at least one
weaselpolitician who's done similar about-faces in less time than that.He allegedly paid for someone else to get healthcare? Why is that a problem?

So, if true, in 13 years, he changed is position on abortion.
A less charitable reading of that is that he was ok with it for him, less so for others.
A less still charitable reading is that he's a total scumbag who will say what it takes to get elected and murder babies to avoid paying child support.
And yes, he's not the first person to change his life-long held convictions. Flipper Romney was pro-choice when he wanted to govern Massachusetts.

Two words: Barack Obama.

More problematic is this, from Christian Walker’s tweet:
- “… left us to bang a bunch of women, threatened to kill us, and had us move over 6 times in 6 months running from your violence.”
From the SLAPPableHat’s tweet:
- “… abandoning your families, holding a gun to your ex-wife's head, …”
Threatening to kill your own family, holding a gun to your ex-wife’s head, those I find much harder to excuse.

He no longer supports a man’s right to hold a gun to their ex-wife’s head. Whilst he accepts that abandoning one’s family is sometimes unavoidable, he in no way condones those actions in others.
He feels that banging a load of women is really down to a matter of individual choice.

And that's where you've swallowed the bait.
Warnack's commercial features a clip of Hershel's wife talking about the gun incident. What they don't tell you, is that it is a nicely edited form of the original tape. Hershel and his wife were being interviewed and were talking about some of the very tough times they had had. His concussions, his PTSD symptoms and unexplained tempers, culminating in the gun incident.
When that happened, they realized he (and her) had hit bottom. Something had to change. Through medical intervention and a heavy dose of Jesus, Hershel turned a corner. The marriage didn't last, but Hershel's recovery did.
You know, I noticed you didn't mention a word about the many times Hershel has told that story of hitting bottom and redemption. I heard somewhere he's talked about PTSD issues at almost 700 venues, from VA hospitals to military bases, offering people hope.
Now, shithead, who would you rather vote for?...A man who has fought some pretty serious demons and turned his life around or a preacher who us so desperate to hang onto power he'd run a smear campaign against a fellow Christian?

The rest of the State must be filled with some fucking delinquent characters if that's the best they could come up with.

What no one is considering is it might not have been his decision. Isn’t that what they are fighting for? A woman ‘s ability (I won’t grace it by calling it a right) to choose?

True, but he did write the check.

Walker says he didn't pay for an abortion.
The way I look at this, is typical Dem shenanigans. Republicans are held to a higher moral standard and bombshells, true or not, are SOP for Dem campaigns.
Hard for Republican candidates to battle back, since the only thing the Dems aren't in favor of, is human sacrifice. And the media is a propaganda arm of the Dem party.
So...since both are flawed candidates ( as George said, Warnack tried to kill his wife with a car) shall Georgians vote on the issues?
