Sounds like she was fired for cause.

        Or supporting her stepson.

Dang, you're probably right. I keep forgetting about this downward spiral of irrationality we're all on.

Hear that sound? It's the sound of lawyers buzzing overhead.

I'm sure that she can find someone like Michel Avenatti an attorney who will take her case. Remember there's no such thing as bad publicity, and discovery will be a hoot.

Go into an Atlanta workplace, or perhaps the offices of a major American corporation and voice strong support for the police during the time period of the last three weeks.

Get back to me on how well that works out for you.

In my office we're advised not to talk about things that could be deeply offensive or controversial, irrespective of the topic or political aspect. A number of people have been spoken to by HR for making stupid leftist remarks, as well as sexist and other comments

Don't be a prick in the workplace, folks. Save it for when you get home.

Incidentally, since the lockdown, I've had to close down a number of video conversations when the team discussion started getting too political. This isn't normally a problem.

                I was only joking

                  Police are good

Try publishing that on twitter and you'll never work in this town again

When i lived in Atlanta, I saw many examples of what the police there face every single day from the hordes of welfare recipients down town.

I was walking across a parking lot headed into the World Congress Center one day, a rather large black cop was walking about 20 feet in front of me. In the distance I could hear the "ratatatatatat" of an automatic rifle, as well has shots from a semi-automatic handgun. I asked the cop if he heard it too, he said "sure do." I said "where's it coming from?" He turned and pointed toward a hill off in the distance, which as far off as it was you could still see that it was absolute squalor. He said "it's coming from those projects. The only way we will go in there is if someone gets killed, and even then we won't go in unless we go with an army of cops and a full swat team."
