    https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2022/09/02/college-major-regrets/

The WaPo has analyzed the data. The most regretted (and also happens to be lowest paying) college majors are in the arts and humanities; the least regretted (and also happens to be highest paying) college majors are in engineering.

What's surprising to me is that "vocational and technical training" ranked pretty high, 3rd behind "humanity and the arts" and "social and behavioral sciences", on the "most regretted majors" list. Those in the "vocational and technical training" group is also the ones with the most regrets with their choices of schools.

I suspect those figures have a lot more to do with choice of school than major. Particularly in vocational and technical there are a whole lot of for profits out there that do a poor job.
