Andreessen investing in disgraced WeWork founder's new real-estate startup

... to the tune of $350 million, valuing the startup at over $1 billion before it even officially opens its door.

I respect Andreessen for what he did for Mosaic and then Netscape. I rented coworking space from WeWork before and followed the news of its implosion and ouster of its then founder-CEO Adam Neumann. Now Andreessen is throwing a lot of money at Neumann's startup to do stuff in residential real-estate, supposedly to address the housing crisis using approaches outside of the traditional approaches of buying or renting.
I have a bad feeling about this, not so much for Andreessen, but for the unsuspecting Joe Public who will get caught up in whatever Neumann will be doing to residential real-estate with this new venture.
