I think it absolutely sucks.
The kid was a 4-star coming out of high school. He's probably Mississippi's leading high school passing QB. He's had some injury issues and his career was derailed by the Bureaux juggernaut, but he looked pretty good in the games he started. Not real mobile, but has a good arm.
This should have been his year. But here comes a highly ranked freshman and a guy from Arizona in the transfer portal...And the next thing you know, he's being told he's not the starter.
That's simply not right. No young man should lose his job because he got hurt last year. The kid has shown a lot of loyalty to LSU, he's talented and has hung around for six years.
I know college football is a business, especially with the transfer portal, the level LSU plays at and especially with the NIL money. But if you show kids no loyalty at all, then why should they play for you?
