Oh, George, you are missing one of the finest sitcoms of all time, if not the finest.

      Yes, a very classy show.

If they do do a redo, I hope they bring back David Hyde Pierce, IMO the funniest actor in a series EVAH.

Unless they get the original team of writers, or some of them at least, I'm not sure how they make this work.

I've never seen a single episode of "Frasier," though I enjoy Grammar's serious work.

Seems that there's a reboot in the works:

Paramount+ announced a Frasier reboot series in February 2021. The original sitcom, which aired for 11 seasons from 1993 through 2004, is available to stream on Hulu.

So, some fanboi came up with a trailer, with a decidedly different take.

Kelsey Grammer could play Jack Nicholson in a biopic…

I never cared for the Kubrick version of the movie. Yeah, it's creepy AF, but it really left a lot out of the book's story. The miniseries was a better adaptation, but perhaps not a better "show."

Loved the book, and I'm no King fanboi.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Thought Steven Weber did a much better job than Nicholson. Nicholson kind of called it in, IMO.

                        That's Kubrick for you.

King said the difference between pop and lit writers is that lit writers look at an idea and ask, "what do I think this means?" Pop writers might look at the same idea but ask, "what would this mean to other people?"

Kubrick is very much a "what do I think this means" kinda filmmaker. He never gave a shit about making something other people like, he tried to make something good. (Sometimes those things overlap, sometimes they don't.)

                        Please love yourself.
