Word has it that when you look up "polymath" in the dictionary, there's a picture of Steve Martin in the margin.

So, I guess there's documentary about him in the works.

I love Steve Martin. His wonderful talents, his refusal to take himself too seriously are so engaging.

I've read 3 of his books, and enjoyed them all ("Shopgirl" being my favorite - even if it is a "chick" book).

I've been disappointed by "Only Murders in The Building," however. It seems just too contrived, and can't figure out whether to be a serious show about murders or a comedy. Falling between, it fails, despite its wonderful cast.

Yeah I felt the same way about the show. But it apparently has a following.

Saw something on the internet this evening that said he was basically retiring, though it seemed pretty non-specific. LOL
