Password managers?
-
I used to use 1Password. Worked well and I was happy. All I had to do was enter a specific keystroke combination, and it pasted my username and password.
Then, they went to a subscription model.
Since then, I've been using Apple's Safari password system, and it's working pretty well. What I like is that usernames and passwords are shared via
somebody else's computerthe cloud to that all of the devices I have linked tosomebody elses' computermy iCloud account see the information. It's pretty nice.Is there a reason to subscribe to a password manager?

I use KeePass, which is free, but mostly for Windows. I can share the file via the network/cloud.

I do everything I should not do.
Pretty much use the same password for different websites
Keep a spreadsheet on my computer with important websites listed with username/password (Of course TNCR is top of the list) -

I do everything I should do.
Use a different password for each website. Minimum of 20 random characters, changed on a daily basis.
Keep a hard copy spreadsheet with important websites listed with username/password (Of course TNCR is top of the list). This hard copy spreadsheet is flown to a safety box on a different continent. Travel time to the safety box is >24 hours, so if it is intercepted or the plane is hijacked, the hard copy spreadsheet is already out of date.

That's what I do, too!

I’ve been using the built in safari one for years.
I don’t let it have the passwords to my financial accounts. I’m happy to type them in every time.

I do the exact same thing. I use lastpass as well for windows browsers.
