Nah, it's a fishing expidition. Always has been.
Did Trump do something wrong? Probably. But no more than his predecessors or even some in positions not as high in the government.
It's never been about Justice or what is right. It's about negating the threat and derailing the Disruptor.

Didn't Trump pass stricter laws to stamp this sort of thing out - or was that just for the little people?
-
I stand by my statement above. I find it to be an unassailable point by even cursory observation.
Anything else is just knitting lace around the issue.

Probably not as he wouldn’t have been thinking of little people at the moment.

I also seem to remember him leading his devoted followers in a chant of 'lock her up!'
Or was that him being sarcastic and humourous? He is as funny as all heck when he calls for his opponents to be imprisoned.
Irony works both ways, it appears, as does the hypocrisy.

I think that was Michael "Crazylegs" Flynn.

Hmm, I must've missed that performance.

Did they ever lock up any of those FBI guys that lied their ass off about Russia! Russia! Russia! or the one who fabricated evidence for a warrant or maybe those guys who knowingly brought charges against an innocent man or maybe the ones who engaged in entrapment games?
Nah, they didn't.
Go peddle your papers to somebody who might buy the lie that this isn't all politics...

Which genius signed a law defining the mishandling of classified documents a felony and increasing the potential punishment?

BTW, new allegations of the FBI cooking the books and lying...
-
Oh, there is quite a bit of disturbing stuff going on, but so many have bitten the lure of the shiny lies or stretches of the truth cast in front of them by most of the mass media, they are more worried about some 60 year-old guy in a red MAGA cap, than by a federal agency that is actively trying to effect elections and selectively enforce the law.

QUOTE
The special master appointed to review documents seized by the FBI from Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence last month, told the former president's lawyers to produce evidence to back up their claims of planted evidence. In court documents filed Thursday, Judge Raymond Dearie asked Trump's lawyers to say definitively if they believe the FBI planted evidence while serving a search warrant in August at the home in Palm Springs, Fla.
"This submission shall be Plaintiff's final opportunity to raise any factual dispute as to the completeness and accuracy of the Detailed Property Inventory," Dearie wrote.
UNQUOTEI am pretty confident that no such evidence will be produced. lol

This is a recurring theme in Magat trials. They claim one thing for the credulous base and are far more cautious in court.
Why? Lying to the credulous base pays off. Lie to the courts and you do time.
Note that no one from team trump has claimed in court that the relevant documents were declassified. Only that they could have been.
