For my birthday, we get an FBI manhunt in the area! The interstate is shut down just a bit north of here. Apparently, a guy with a gun threatened the FBI office about 5 miles from me.
You wouldn't think he'd get out of there alive. I wonder if it has anything to do with the search.

That'll show those evil corrupt bastards!
I wonder what he thought he was communicating by waving a gun at the FBI. Oh well, he'll have 50 years in stir to contemplate that.

Just think how much better they could do with an extra 30 agents.
Cough. Cough.

Place your bets... my bet is that the classified secret documents are too classified to talk about, but they have been retrieved. Charges against Donald Trump, if any, are under discussion and not yet finalized.

Behind a paywall, but NYT says that Trump was subpoenaed before the
raidsearch. -

40 minutes late and crickets. That does not look good on DOJ.

They are trying to unseal the search warrant. That's good. Nothing else of substance. Standard righteous boilerplate at the end about how the Justice Dept is above reproach and how dare anybody question those self -sacrificing angels of propriety.

Apparently forging documents only causes a 1 year suspension of your law license and reinstatement in your job.

Principled leaders never apologize for or acknowledge unprincipled behavior within their organization. These are advanced theories of principled behavior that are probably beyond most, but you'll just have to trust those who are expert in principle to define the way in which principled people act.

Setting aside my suspicion that y'all were prepared to excoriate Garland no matter what he said, what could he have said that would have left you satisfied? What did you want him to say?
