One thing that sometimes works for me is to "click" on the link, and immediately after loads, hit the "reader" icon on the left side of the title bar. If you time it right, it will load the whole article. LOL

What's going on over there right now?
Massive fucking protests. Farmers doing the Canadian trucker thing on every major highway. Setting hay bales on fire. On a lot of overpasses, they're flying the Dutch flag upside down. Which the government is taking down and prohibiting because according to them it's an incitement of violence. So they take it down and people put them back up same day.
The conspiracy theory is that central planners want farmer land for the tristate city project and are using nitrogen emissions as an excuse to drive the farmers out. I dunno if it goes that far, but most definitely they've thought up some really stupid environmental legislation that's going to fuck over most of their farmers.
Which is especially insane, because a lot of agricultural advancements that cut back on emissions have come from the Dutch. (That kind of thing was required reading back in the long ago, when I get my bachelor's.)
Also, y'know, hongerwinter. They're doing the very thing they said they'd never, ever do again: make their food production shaky.

I'm with the farmers on this one. They're actually pretty good with their practices, relatively speaking. And their gripe is, "give us a chance to figure this out," not "go fuck yourself."

@Aqua-Letifer French farmers have a long history of protesting, sometimes in pretty extreme ways, such as setting fire to buildings and worse, hence my comment…egalite, fraternity and the other one….
