A woman wrote that. A man would not have felt the need to add the explanatory note. That's a mother thing. A man wouldn't have thought of adding it, but if he did he would assume the reason was self evident and therefore not necessary to explain.

That one is amusing. But sometimes I see signs in establishments, clearly the result of one or two annoying things that happened in the shop, that end up making all future customers feel accused. The passive aggression and angry vibes hit all the innocent shoppers. Some people don’t have a great temperament to own a retail shop.
