You're transphobic!

The testy exchange began when Hawley said he wanted to “clear one thing up” and asked Bridges if she meant women when she used the phrase “people with a capacity for pregnancy.”
-
It gets better:
Sen. John Cornyn: “Do you think that a baby that is not yet born has value?”
Khiara Bridges, law professor at UC Berkeley School of Law: “I believe that a person with a capacity for pregnancy has value.”
Cornyn: “You’re not answering.”
Bridges: “I’m answering a more interesting question to me.”

She obviously thinks so: “We have a good time in my class. You should join. You might learn a lot.”
FFS, PROFESSOR Bridges. Show some respect by 1) answering the question asked of you by Sen. Cornyn and not editorializing on what you wish, and by cutting the snark. As a PROFESSOR of Law, you should know how important decorum in the courtroom is. Do you think, for a second, that any judge would countenance such remarks?
I don't, and I'm not even a lawyer.

Seems like a waste of time to have the hearing. Not sure what is going to be accomplished
