A U.S. Navy fighter jet assigned to an aircraft carrier in the Mediterranean Sea blew off the deck on Friday during bad weather, the military branch announced on Sunday.

An F/A-18 Super Hornet went overboard on the USS Harry S. Truman during "unexpected heavy weather," the Navy said in a statement.

That's going to be some interesting video, to be sure.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

@Copper Hope the two pilots were okay.

Wonder how something like that could happen? Would have thought they would have checked disntaces, etc.
