Tonight's dinner - leftovers
-
About a week ago, I made lasagna. It was my "stupid easy, hard to fuck up, lasagna" of which Mrs. George approves. My meal gave us enough for 3 meals. I froze ⅔ of it.
So, I thawed half of the leftovers, put it into an oven at 350 for about an hour (covered). I paired it with some Italian bread that heats up in the oven, and garden salad leftovers from last night's pizza order.
Aside to @kluurs we had pizza from a place that's close to you: Salerno's. I moved to your town in 1976 and Salerno's was one of my go-to places.
Super simple, super satisfying.
I almost decided to use some not-so-cheap Scotch. But....nah.

Have lived in OP for 45 years, driven past a gazillion times - never tried their pizza. We will have to give it a try.

Do it. I first found it when their one and only place was in Berwyn. Must've been 1976 or so.
Very traditional.
Whatever you order, be sure to put "extra cheese" on it...
