Read the thread - or at least as much as you can stomach.

So a guy from DeSantis' office and the Washington Examiner. What's not to believe?

Phrases like "believed to have been" and "appear to have been" sprinkled liberally throughout.

"Word has typically trickled out from states where uninvited flights land . . . " Rock solid reporting!

"The Daily Wire identified nearly three dozen charter planes believed to have been deployed to move illegal immigrants. Using flight radar data from FlightRadar24 . . . " Which also has the amazing capacity to determine the passengers' immigration status! Have you ever heard of such a thing???

        Yeah, me neither.

This is, to coin a Stephen King phrase, bullshit of the purest ray serene. That is, there may be truth in there somewhere, I'm not exonerating anybody, but you can't go by this crap.

          Psaki?

White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Tuesday confirmed reporting by the New York Post that the Biden administration has been quietly flying underage illegal immigrants from the border to New York in the dead of night.

During a press briefing, a reporter asked why the administration is “flying thousands of migrants from the border to Florida and New York in the middle of the night.”

“Well I’m not sure it’s in the middle of the night but let me tell you what’s happening here. It is our —” Psaki said, before the reporter interrupted with various “very early” morning times that flights have taken place.

“Here we are talking about early flights, earlier than you might like to take a flight,” Psaki said. “It is our legal responsibility to safely care for unaccompanied children until they can be swiftly unified with a parent or a vetted sponsor and that’s something we take seriously.”

She said the administration has a “moral obligation” to carry out the reunification process and noted that the Office of Refugee Resettlement has been facilitating travel for children in its custody to their families or sponsors across the country in recent weeks.

Kind of a different slant, wouldn't you say?

The truth of events reported wasn't even my point in my first post on this. The Daily Mirror piece is sly scurrilous twisting of cherry-picked facts solely for the purpose of inculcating a belief.

At its very best, this is an op-ed. But mostly it is unconscionable crap.

You see that big dot in Louisiana? That looks to be almost Monroe, but I would bet money that's most likely AEX. ConAir has a facility there at the end of the runway, along with a secure area where JRTC processes soldiers. Plus, the runways are USAF long and you can land anything on them.

              Including these:

You ought to see one of these parked next to a Starlifter.
