            I found the Loggins version off-putting. The strumming and "off beat" vocalizations just didn't work for me. When he got out of the first verse, I said, "Finally!"

            Sadly, it was not to last.

            Brooks does the same thing, but, it works.

              Pinching a bloke's song and then refusing to pay for it isn't good, however well he sings it.

              It's not like he needs the cash - Brooks played in our little town a few weeks back, and brought the entire place to a complete standstill - he's clearly more popular than the Patriots. The only time I've seen it busier was when they had a Monster Truck event.
