I have compassion for the man's situation and wish him the best, but do we really want to consider legislation submitted by a psych inpatient?

Jane Pauley "interviewed" Letterman last week. I haven't had the chance to watch it, yet, but some have commented that it looks like he was reading the questions on an off-camera monitor, with pre-written responses.
She actually suggested that he might consider future plans "beyond the Senate."

I watched it. It was empathetic softballs all around. Isn't he courageous.
The man's not fit to serve in the most deliberative body in government.
