No idea if this is true, but who cares?

Ew. I never had any problems with a properly wrapped burrito.

@Mik Y U Have problem with food-grade fibrous scaffolding with organic adhesive?

        H8R

(I think Elmer's Glue is organic adhesive, btw)

I'd be more worried about what's in the actual burrito, TBH

@Doctor-Phibes well, yeah. There's that, of course.

Since the publication of this news, evidence is emerging that the edible tape is causing what clinical researchers are calling 'cognitive peculiarities', such as the spelling of the article writer's name. Until recently, Maanya Sachdeva had used the name she was born with, Maria Smith.

"I don't know what happened," she said tearfully. "I thought I was writing my name, Maria. My parents are going to kill me."

Success is measured by your discipline and inner peace. – Mike Ditka

I recall Kenny Deal from my 4th grade class considered Elmer's Glue to be both organic and edible. He squirted that stuff into his mouth during class every day.

I eat them with a knife and fork.

They’ll end up, after a lot of drama, with the same formula they use every time they have a trifecta: take away health care and food assistance from low income families and use the money to fund tax cuts for their donors.

There's a really good Mexican place kitty-corner to my condo. Their burritos are yuge.

They are assembled well-enough that tableware is not necessary, but I totally get your point.
