On Netflix, also a Michael Connely series like Bosch.

    Pretty good so far.

      Binged it this weekend.

Apparently, the series begins with book 2 of Connelly's series. That's OK, of course, because it does a good job of explaining the backstory to Mickey Haller. Also, since Amazon owns "Bosch" and Netflix owns "Lincoln" there's no way that Harry Bosch and Mickey Haller will cross paths, though they do in the books.

Reviews have been mixed, but I enjoyed it. Complex enough to make interesting with a satisfying concluding episode that leaves the door open for another go-around.

Sort of reminded me of "Goliath." There's a lot of quirky characters who sort of flesh out the story, but are, for a great part, disposable and really don't add much.

      I'd give it 3/5 stars.

I'll probably waste another weekend when it returns.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

I don't think it's quite as good as Goliath, which had just wonderful writing. But still a cut above a lot of stuff.

Agreed. Part of the greatness of Goliath was Billy Bob Thornton, who is one of my favorite actors. I forget the female lead's name, but she was good as hell as well. She made a great foil to Billy McBride.

"Goliath" was a good story made great by its actors.

"Lincoln Lawyer" is a good story, whose actors haven't risen to that level, yet.

But still a cut above a lot of stuff.

          And how.

But. returning to Billy Bob Thornton.

          Sling Blade.
          Fargo.
          Goliath.

          And...

          A short appearance in 1883.

          Love the guy.

Amber Heard did too. Word on the street.
