Ugly as hell too.
Sean Spicer's probably more your type.
Nah, I likely have better taste in women than you do.
That seems a little unlikely, since you don’t have better taste in anything else than me
@brenda said in Gee, she's short...:
I used to be 5'4", and as one ages, height gets lost. Several years ago, I was barely 5'2". I'm likely closer to 5'1" now. In grade school, I was usually the tallest kid in my grade. By age 9, I was my full height, sometimes taller that the teachers, so people treated me as if I was older. They expected more from me than the other kids, and I developed leadership skills at an early age, which have lasted my whole life.
My height doesn't matter to anybody after they've been around me for five minutes. I've had a couple legislators who tried to intimidate me by towering over me. They got over it. They're also gone now. Funny thing how that happens.
As a fellow height-challenged individual, I take the view that since my brain is pretty much the same size as a tall persons, and they have a lot more motor stuff to control than I do, well…..

I do know that tall people are the last ones to get the joke. Mostly because it takes longer for the sound to get up there, and sound travels more slowly at altitude.

I’ve heard that claim made seriously before, and with the reasoning you gave. I think the intuition came from other species and the brain mass ratio to their body mass. But that wouldn’t apply to comparisons of individuals from the same species.

There’s actually a slight positive correlation between height and intelligence, outlined in a paper written by Professor Lofty Hightower of Longshanks College.
