Hey, "Dune" fans
-
I really enjoyed the first installment of "Dune." Although some stuff was cut (the background to Dr. Yueh's treason), it was pretty faithful to the original work.
Some liberties were taken with the timeline, which I found perplexing. For example, we didn't see Emperor Shaddam IV in this part of the story, and he's only alluded to.
But, Shaddam is going to make an appearance in the second half of the story.
Oh, and why doesn't anyone proofread any more?
Walken, who won an Oscar for best supporting actor for 1978’s “The Dear Hunter,” most recently appeared in the Apple TV+ series “Severence” and the Amazon Prime Video series “Outlaws.”

A horrific movie, where he sought out little old ladies, and then shot them with a 12-gauge.

Remember this?

[Verse 2]
Walk without rhythm
It won't attract the worm
Walk without rhythm
And it won't attract the worm
Walk without rhythm
And it won't attract the worm
If you walk without rhythm
Ah, you never learn, yeah -

I find crap like that every single day in articles I read. It makes me shudder.
It makes me shutter too, it’s paneful. We shouldn’t make lite of it.
