"In May 2016 officials with Rijkswaterstaat, the infrastructure management agency in the Netherlands, installed a tunnel beneath highway A12 near Ede. The tunnel, which weighs 3,600 tons and measures 230 feet long was installed below the highway in just one weekend by digging away the highway and inserting the new tunnel."

This would have taken 10 years in Chicago, and then, at the end of 10 years, "improvements" would be required.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Wow. Wouldn't it have been supercool to find a nearby hill and sidewalk superintend this project? Bring along some sandwiches and stuff, water; maybe a slab of chocolate cake. Yeah!

Very cool. Like a modern version of the Amish doing a barn raise.
