I keep hoping for an Honor Harrington tv series or mini-series. A movie was talked about at one time, but the author (Weber) think the Honorverse has grown too large, with too many characters, to be done well in a movie, or series of movies.
IIRC, there are about 16 Honor Harrington novels and at least that many Honorverse novels featuring characters or institutions found in the main novels
You can read several of them (older) for free, just google up "Baen CD".
Think Hornblower in space opera.
