A Japanese innovation to deal with an aging population, where the use of disposable adult diapers is increasing. Incinerating soiled disposable diapers gets very costly and you cannot just ban disposable diapers like you band plastic bags and plastic straws without severely compromise sanitation. So the Japanese figured out a way to process soiled disposable diapers into fuel pallets and reuse them as an energy to power other things.
