I do a lot of proofreading on a daily basis. It's a dead boring profession, sadly.

I do a lot of proofreading on a daily basis. It's a dead boring profession, sadly.
That's because you have to cut out the ravings of that mad Russian, not because the profession is alive and well.

@Aqua-Letifer , how much does proofreading (as a job) get paid anyway? How much money are the publishers saving by not paying anyone to proofread anymore?
