      INteresting articles, but from (the little) I know about it, nothing really surprises. I am sure that the US (and other big powers) has many times supplied weapons, training, etc. to rebels in many countries "under the table" and if the operation became public, then denied knowledge.

                yea, i cant believe the good folks of this country didnt try to stop the certification process at the time....should have stormed the capital

                  There was talk of some pretty nasty stuff, possibly exceeding the January 6th protests.. Nixon decided not to do so for the good of the country.
