So I put on a Blues Clues & You Song Channel on YouTube today while Finley and I was playing. About 15 minutes in this popped up…

        https://www.christiancentury.org/article/2013-01/baptism-how-young-too-young

Children’s ministry experts are reporting anecdotal evidence that the practice of baptizing younger children—kindergarten age and even younger—is on the rise and has been for years for reasons ranging from the impact of peer pressure to a desire to boost church membership.

        https://www.thepuregift.com/best-age-to-baptise-your-baby/

I found the best age to baptise/christen my children was around 3 months old. The average age for christening a baby now is around 3-6 months old, compared to around 6 weeks old in the 1980’s.

Now if we can just get the kids to start memorizing the multiplications table sooner, learn Boolean algebra sooner, get exposed to algorithmic thinking sooner, learn statistics and probability sooner, pick up a second language sooner ...

Sounds good to me. Why don't you write a letter to the NEA making these suggestions and let us know what they say.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Do you seriously believe that children should be taught to substitute using their digestive systems to do the work of the reproductive systems?

This debate isn't about cutesy rainbows, it is about inserting your reproductive system into another guy's digestive system.

            You knew that, right?

Homosexuality sits on a cultural pedestal, but we don't really like to think about the mechanics of that pedestal sitting.

              Education is extremely important.

                1. If you believe in Creationism, ask yourself why the two systems have been created to allow such inter-system insertions, why the Creator (if there is one) has not created any impediment to prevent such insertions.

                2. Other more common, more popular forms of digestive and reproductive inter-system insertions that you may have heard of: felatio, cunnilingus. Hopefully keeping these more common forms in mind will help you understand digestive and reproductive inter-system insertions in more holistic contexts.

You can do good or you can do bad, with what God gives you.

Now, we can go into a Calvinism vs. Arminianism theological argument, but fair warning, I definitely lean towards the latter. I believe God gave each and every one, the ability to fuck up, bigly.

It sits on a pedestal of its own making. The entertainment industry - and that's what much of today's news is also -has a high preponderance of homosexuals. Deviants, which is certainly what they are, want to turn public perception into accepting them as "normal".

                    They aren't.

Having said that, I harbor them no ill will, and they should be allowed to live their lives as they see fit. Civil unions, fair housing and hiring laws, etc. Right and wrong will eventually be between them and God, for as it is written, it is appointed unto man once to die and then the Judgement. They'll answer for their sins, just as I have to answer for mine.

But even though they [homosexuals] should be able to live their life without severe societal encumbrance, they should never beheld up as an ideal. Nor as totally normal. The ideal in our society should be monogamous marriage and having a family with children, if possible.

And the family should be touted as the ideal and be placed on a pedestal, for that is what constitutes a healthy and stable society at its core.

The question is not what stupid comparisons can be made.

The question is why do you want the state to force disgusting perversion on children?
