Just hang up one of those ugly sticky unrolly things (not toxic) in one of your sunny windows for the day. It will get stuck and die. I had to do that in the summer in the windows in the barn in Maine, and I did it in the house occasionally. Works great. Hardest part is getting the thing unrolled with the little thumbtack still on it (but you could tape it up easily).
