Canceled in 1988 for a well meaning but (apparently) incorrect theory about African American success in the NFL.

Another interesting fact, he lost 3 of 5 children to Cystic Fibrosis. He bonded with sportscaster Frank Deford who also lost a daughter to CF and was chair of the CF foundation for many years.
