Things you might not know

A lot of those are fun. I disagree with the editorializing on washing your hands:
When you were a kid, you probably got sick of your parents telling you to wash your hands after playing outside. It might have sounded like a broken record back then and you probably didn’t take them seriously, but you should have. This photo shows the bacteria that grew when an 8-year-old who had been playing outside pressed his hand onto a Petri dish.
A bacteria-less hand is probably a very unhealthy hand.

That was very cool and a lot of fun to see those things.
The backside of the Hollywood sign is open to every one. I did it last summer. You just have to make the effort to walk up the hill further.
