I enjoyed his observations on piano practice and his history.

It was good. I've ordered his book on Audible. I'll listen to it on Tuesday.

I've started listening to the Audible version - and recommend that if you have an interest in the book, that you go for the audiobook version as he uses audio recordings of him playing the examples of pieces that he is discussing. He intersperses the life stories of himself and his parents along with lessons he has learned concerning music and piano performance. I'm only up to chapter 3 - so a ways to go - but so far - a fun listen.
