Wokeness is a luxury belief, and luxury beliefs will always be at tension with working class lifestyles.

      Education is extremely important.

Notice the breakdown of education vs. voting patterns? Those with advanced degrees are usually voting for Dems.

        Why?

The luxury beliefs of status seeking primates, chasing status in the easiest way possible. In the way that requires the least personal sacrifice and which accrues the most personal value.

          Education is extremely important.

Advanced degrees, in many cases, have become a ripoff.

Perhaps this study by the University of Kansas gives a clue:

Those who participate in activities that are correlated with intelligence, are able to think more critically about information they receive, as compared to people who do not do things correlated with intelligence. Shocking. Equally shocking - high status educated types will dance around concepts such as measurable intelligence, but never, ever hit the idea on the nose, because it would do harm to their social status to admit the obvious regarding that.

                  Education is extremely important.

I believe the current lefty handbook discourages using the word Misinformation without using the word Disinformation.

This two words should always be used together, and with a little rhythm please.

                            QUOTE
In the 2020 election, Trump carried the overall working class (noncollege) vote by 4 points (Catalist two party vote), about the same margin he had in 2016.

                            And

since 2012, nonwhite working class voters have shifted away from the Democrats by 18 margin points, with a particularly sharp shift in the last election and particularly among Hispanics.

The above two quotes dont seem to match up. If the overall working class vote margin was the same from 2016 to 2020, how could so many non white working class people have shifted away from teh Democrats?

@taiwan_girl the vastly increased number of voters and a very small dip in his percentage of white working class voters would account for it. So would a smaller number of working class voters.

I think Maslov's hierarchy of needs explains it all.

What's better than having stuff? Status, and the feeling of moral superiority.
