I have to wonder how much intelligence is coming from Russian sources.

Good question.

The Admiral and at least some his staff just may have been taken out in the strike. Also sounds that the local partisans were involved. Kyiv would ateady have the coordinates of the HQ building, all they needed to know was when the bosses would be all there. Just a matter of a green light from the ground. The missiles were already locked and loaded.

Is Sokolov alive?
It would be a pity if he weren't.

Time will tell. The Kremlin is being particularly coy about that attack last week.

@George-K Wasn't there some movie where they propped up some commander (who was dead) with a current newspaper to "prove" that he was alive?
Anyway, with digital "manipulation", I am sure that Russians are working on something like that right now.

In the 2nd video, he "appears." However, he is not shown to speak.
Any legitimate "proof of life" evidence would include a reference to recent events, or a photo of a recent newspaper, etc.

Here's a shot of the other participants in that call. They also have a white-backed chair. But, they don't look as "poofy" as Sokolov's.

Yes, saw this covered on i24 news. Interesting channel, I think it's from Israel. I've tuned to it once, actually right now. The anchor lady never smiles. That's important.
