Former National Security Adviser Susan Rice claimed without evidence on Sunday that the Russian government could be funding violent protests across the U.S. in the wake of the police-involved death of George Floyd.
“I would bet based on my experience, I’m not reading the intelligence these days but based on my experience,” Rice said, “this is right out of the Russian playbook as well.”
“I would not be surprised to learn that they have fomented some of these extremists on both sides using social media,” Rice told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer.
“I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that they are funding it in some way, shape or form.”
Rice was responding to President Donald Trump’s announcement that he plans to designate Antifa, the far left-wing activist group, a domestic terror organization...
“To designate antifa a terrorist organization, fine, but let’s also focus on the right-wing terrorists supremacists he called in the past very fine people. We have a problem here, Wolf,” she said.
The woman is a liar with no shame. None.

our culture is trivially easy to troll. An outrage culture should be expected to be trivially easy to troll.

Of course the Russians love our unrest. Without social media Russia could only dream of meddling as they can now, and their clunky tactics of the past would make for a funny movie. In fact most of the rest of the world likely does.
It’s fantastic for China for sure.

Oh c’mon, the woman speculates based on her experience in her field of expertise, qualifies that it’s based solely on her experience, and you call her a liar with no shame? I do not recall you reacted anywhere nearly as strongly to any of Trump’s multitude of baseless claims. Would you be less judgmental had she prefaced her statement with “I heard many people say” like Trump does?

Oh c'mon. How many Sunday shows did she appear on claiming that the Benghazi riots were because of a YouTube video?
The comment about "fine people" is a lie as well, and you know it.

That's a good question. Ax, do you know that the claim about Trump calling white supremacists fine people is a lie? I know many very intelligent liberals on WTF believe it, I wonder if you believe it as well. Thanks in advance for your answer.

Also, whether the stuff about Russians is true or not, she should have been asked for evidence.
But she wasn't.

According to news reports, they have found piles of bricks positioned around and ready for use, vehicles with no tags positioned around ready for use, and other things strategically placed around to be used to destroy. But there's no coordination to this, you think?

Of course, he's not the only one funding them. It was just reported on the news that Biden's campaign had made a donation to them as well.

Well, only in the sense that they're paying bail for these folks. That's totally different, right?

Well, certainly, nothing says multi-billionaire George Soros like a pile of bricks.

Nothing says Soros quite like the organizations he funds.
