Mrs. George was asking if there's any way that Putin could be taken out. I don't mean assassinated, but rendered impotent.
They tried it with Hitler, and, because of a fluke, it failed. I have to wonder how many of his inner circle, who supposedly support him, are aware of what's really happening, and aware of the very real consequences of his actions. Will they stand up and say, "No, sir. We won't."
I'm not optimistic.

There’s a former poster at PW and WTF (who attends NY piano parties) whose relative was killed by Stauffenberg’s bomb.
He was the Chief of the General Staff of the Luftwaffe. On YouTube you can still find a video of Göring speaking at his funeral.

Tito fed up with Stalin sending assassins wrote openly,
“Stop sending people to kill me. We’ve already captured five of them, one of them with a bomb and another with a rifle…If you don’t stop sending killers, I’ll send one to Moscow, and I won’t have to send another.”
