It really came into its own in Britain during the early days of the pandemic. Soft, strong, and thoroughly absorbent.
You could say it caught the spirit of the nation - it was right up most people's alley.

But why would they bother with a nuclear power plant for that? They have plenty of nuclear weapons, if that is their goal.

Nuclear weapons are weapons, weapons of mass destruction. Use of this weapon has well defined punishment.
A nuclear power plant is not a weapon. Use of a power plant accident brings foreign aid and sincere sympathy.
