    Air Force ROTC pilots owe the USAF 10 years active duty, when commissioned as pilots.

    1. Should we expand the program?
    2. Should we lower the required years of active duty?

      I don't have any informed opinion on this particular matter.

      But, if I recall correctly, for repayment of medical education obligations, it was one-for-one.

      IOW..."You owe us one year of service for every year of school that we paid for."

            Eye doc my wife worked for, served as a flight surgeon. Learned a lot about trauma during SE Asia vacation.

            But...It payed for Tulane Med...

              Training an AF pilot is more expensive than training an MD.

              But 10 years seems long. Especially all active.

              Only non-witches get due process.

                  Docs get paid during residency. LSUMC...
