During today’s commute. The videos are lousy. Altogether I counted probably about 500 trucks. (Actually counted 140, but was only getting every 4th truck or so) The biggest and best stretch I couldn’t video (across the American Legion through the Dulles Access Road) but there were several dozen people on the 193 and GW Parkway overpasses and the trucks were back to back through 2 lanes. They kept traffic moving, leaving lanes open and allowing people to merge, but yeah, if they wanted to, they could have seriously screwed up Washington’s narrow streets and intersections…

For Canadians, sure. The US has no vaccine mandate for American truckers.

For Canadians, sure. The US has no vaccine mandate for American truckers.
They are mandating it for Canadian trucks and Canada is mandating it for American trucks. The two are hand in hand in this.

Also, the only reason there aren't Federal Mandates is because the courts shut them down...
Beyond that, why were rioters burning Washington, DC over a police killing in Minnesota? Federal authorities still have a lot of sway over what happens at the local level.

And if the court hadn’t struck down the OSHA rule, it still wouldn’t have applied to truckers.
At any rate these clowns are in the wrong city. Either their capital, their town, or Ottawa.

That was absolutely me. Just a couple of differences:
- It was today, not yesterday.
- It wasn't in DC.
- It was a beamer, not a truck.
Motherfucker almost hit a woman with a stroller and two parked cars because he didn't want to deal with the anguish of being behind a bicycle. (I was going 32 in a 25.)
Take any social situation, I don't care what it is. In that situation, upper-middle class people who think they're upper class are going to be the worst.
