I take my gin either as a martini or simple G and T.

No expectations of complexity. It is what it is.

The one I keep in the house is Tanqueray. Why? How the hell do I know.

@George-K Back in the day, my wife did tastings at wineries, liquor stores and the like. She's tried a lot of every different kind of booze, including gin.

She says this is hands down the best she's come across.

My own experience with gin is far more limited, but I'd say it easily beats the shit out of Bombay Sapphire.

      Please love yourself.

Ask her how it compares to Hendrick’s.

Well, it’s flavored with Asian parsnip, so I expect it would smell like it.

Because it's the one Brenda likes, and you are looking forward to when I visit you, so you are wisely prepared. That's how you know.

Well, there you go. She'll have your gin.

Long way to go for a wedding.

I went to Tel Aviv for a wedding.

Come to think of it, I’ve flown to Germany, UK, Italy, Israel, Mexico, Jamaica, India, and Brazil just to attend weddings, though I usually would plan a vacation around it.

Of those, only Jamaica was a ‘destination wedding’.

Your nephew must be quite intelligent to find a Minnesooootan to marry. I hope they make our state their new home. Congrats to all!

Would not miss the wedding for anything, my brothers kid.

The brides folks are minnesooootans but the happy couple are scientists at woods hole oceanographic institute in Mass.

He is a physics PhD studying ocean waves.
