Old Retired people don't seem to like them as much.

Which is kind of ironic, all things considered.

    I was only joking

I can't speak to HR people and masks, but where I live I have seen a few off duty nurses and other health care workers take people to task for not wearing their masks correctly in public places. I think it is a good practice, and should be encouraged.

People with anxiety attacks must love wearing masks. Looks more inconspicuous than a paper bag.

I'm not so sure about repeated washing of a mask. Does washing separate the fibers, which then are further separated in the dryer? I don't know of course. But, the virus particles are so small, it can take an electron microscope to view them. That would mean even the tiniest gap between fibers could be a gateway for the nasty little virus particles.

Years ago, I had a spray to spray on the furnace filter, to increase efficiency. I suggest everyone spray their masks with furnace filter spray instead of washing and drying their mask.

Actually, just soak your home made cloth mask in diesel before and after you wear it. That will surely protect others from any viruses that happen to escape through your mask. Diesel will also protect you from others spraying viruses in the direction of your face.

Dr. George, I reckoned that would give you pause. As I already stated, a thorough wash and rinse in the laundry however would more than suffice. Maybe a dash of cleaning vinegar wouldn't hurt either?
