What is the goal? How are we going to measure it?
Exactly how many lives have been saved by masks?
Why would we ever go out without a mask? I mean forever and ever.
Why not wear masks and end all communicable diseases and save everyone's life?

But, no - there's no good grievance in that message. I am genuinely a little surprise how stark the political lines have been drawn on this.

wrote on 29 May 2020, 16:20 last edited by@Copper My goal, is to get past this particular outbreak until such time as proven, effective treatment, that prevents long-term health consequences from this virus, and/or vaccine is available.
I choose to wear a mask. A nice replaceable filter pocket homemade mask that my daughter so lovingly crafted for me. She made one for everyone in our family as well as her friends.
I live in a area not far from Chicago and my particular county has one the fastest growing number of cases in our state.
I will wear one for as long as I want to wear one.

And the jerks requiring it don't heed it themselves. No mask. No social distancing. Just an Executive order telling EVERYBODY else to do it..

People, get your head out of your ass. The mask (unless you're wearing a N95) is not good protection for you getting the virus. The mask is to prevent you from giving it to others.
