      @mik

      Cute, but towing falls under the respective mayors’ and affected provincial premier’s responsibility. In Ontario that would be Doug Ford. Trudeau can’t get involved unless the latter requests his towing services.😎

        Just so we're clear, I'm not in favor of public protest that shuts down commerce or impedes citizens.

          I knew that. I actually thought the meme funny, appropriate and posted in jest. Hence the emoji in sunglasses.

            Who nomally would use these services?

            Truckers.

            The same guys you haul off, are the same guys who ain't gonna call you after things get back to normal. I think the government would have to bring a considerable amount of pressure to bear.

              Think what you want. I disagree. I think it’s more question of capacity to tow the trucks. The Ontario service sector doesn’t have the immediate availability of heavy towing vehicles undertake the job in the first place.

                If you can't tow it with one of these, you got problems...

                  Not aware of such vehicles in the private sector or in any provincial government service vehicle and equipment fleet (well, maybe Quebec has one or two - don’t know). Doubt that you could even rent one. I do know who has them though and it would mean the Federal government gets directly involved and calls the shots. The hope is to avoid that.
